Pan's Kitchen is a modest, no-frills restaurant tucked away in Kaneohe, offering a straightforward plate lunch and breakfast experience that locals appreciate for its hearty portions and reasonable prices. The atmosphere leans toward casual and unpretentious, fitting comfortably into the everyday rhythm of the neighborhood rather than aiming for a polished dining scene.

The menu spotlights classic Hawaiian-style comfort food with favorites like Chicken Katsu, Teriyaki Mix Combos, and unique offerings such as Banana Lumpia and Spam Musubi. Its breakfast specials, priced around $6.99, deliver well-rounded morning meals that come with two eggs, rice, and a choice of protein—ideal for fueling up before a busy day or a morning excursion. Lunch visits here typically revolve around quick, satisfying options like the Battered Garlic Shrimp or the Shoyu Pork Bowl topped with an egg, catering well to those looking for familiar island flavors without the fuss.

Visitors often find the portion sizes generous, making Pan's Kitchen practical for families or anyone wanting to leave full without stretching their budget. The straightforward setup and unpolished decor give it a "hole in the wall" vibe that feels less like a dining destination and more like a dependable spot for a solid meal. It’s most active around breakfast and lunch hours, especially from locals and neighborhood workers, which contributes to a steady, comfortable hum throughout the space.

The service here tends to be friendly and efficient, enhancing the sense of a casual neighborhood eatery where regulars are a common sight. If you appreciate straightforward Hawaiian plate lunches and spots that prioritize taste and value over ambiance, Pan’s Kitchen fits into your midweek or weekend rotation nicely, especially when you're in Kaneohe looking for no-nonsense, comforting island fare.

Great little out of the way place for lunch. We had the Chicken Katsu, Chicken Teriyaki and Spring Rolls. All well made and delicious.

We were staying in the Kaneohe area, and this restaurant popped up on Google when filtering by distance and top rated. We decided to check it out. Several reviews mentioned the value & portion sizes. They serve breakfast specials for $6.99 that come with two eggs , rice and a protein . They also offer other specials like Katsu, which was slightly more expensive @$8.50. I was happy with the meal. If you're looking for a no-frills, inexpensive, hot breakfast plate, then thisbis the place to go when in the area. We went ~815am & seems that many locals frequent this place. It was busy with pickup & to-go orders. They have a limited number of tables to dine-in, and if I can remember it correctly, it was about 6. Larger parties of 6+ would probably find seating challenging. The decor was a little outdated for my taste, but we weren't there for the ambience. The lady working that day was nothing short than excellent . She took orders, called the orders in the back, gave dine-in & take-out orders to customers, mopped, and answered the phone . What a star ! If you're looking for a breakfast that will fill you up without breaking the bank, then this isnthe place. If you want better ambience & more seating, then you'd probably want to go to the chain restaurant down the block at Zippy's. Mahalo!

Very nice hole in the wall restaurant. The food was very ono. The pricing is reasonable, especially with everything rising on the islands. Would definitely make this a regular spot for our family.

Great little place for plate lunches! Our chicken was fresh, delicious, and fried well. Decent size portions, good food, and fairly cheap prices! Definitely would come here again!

Delicious! My wife had the teriyaki chicken bowl and I scarfed the meat Jun and Hawaiian garlic chicken plate. Very impressive. The teriyaki chicken had a wonderful flavor unlike most teriyaki chicken I've ever had. The garlic chicken was super crunchy and delicious especially when dipped in the included sauce. The meat Jun was battered, fried, thin strips of beef and I dipped them in the included teriyaki sauce that was included. Also yummy! The mac salad was the best I've had on the island so far. Definitely check it out when you are in the area.
